Context
I have an ESP32-C3 “SuperMini”.

Problem
When I plug it into my Windows 10 computer, it’s recognized but keeps disconnecting and reconnecting.
Solution
Once the ESP32-C3 is connected to the computer, just hold down the “BOOT” button, then press the “RST” (Reset) button, and after that the problem is fixed.

Test code
With this code, a blue LED should blink:
#define LED_BUILTIN 8
void setup() {
// Initialize the serial port at 115200 baud
Serial.begin(115200);
while (!Serial) {
; // wait for the serial connection to be ready
}
// Configure the built-in LED (often GPIO 8 or 10 on ESP32-C3)
pinMode(LED_BUILTIN, OUTPUT);
Serial.println("ESP32-C3 prêt !");
}
void loop() {
Serial.println("LED ON");
digitalWrite(LED_BUILTIN, HIGH); // Turn the LED on
delay(500);
Serial.println("LED OFF");
digitalWrite(LED_BUILTIN, LOW); // Turn the LED off
delay(500);
}
